NEW-DEAL-ALLOWS-EPP-TO-CLEAN-UPEuropean Process Plant, the leading supplier of top quality equipment to the British and Irish baking industries, has clinched a deal to supply, install and maintain an extensive range of market-leading energy saving washing equipment. The agreement will enable the Epsom-based company to move into fast expanding sectors of the food processing and logistics markets.

EPP managing director Keith Stalker revealed that discussions with Colussi Ermes began in earnest at the Interpack exhibition in Düsseldorf earlier in the and were recently concluded with the signing of the agreement at the Italian company’s headquarters in north east Italy.

He said: “Colussi Ermes is recognised as the undisputed global leader in the design and production of washing machines for the food, logistics, medical and pharmaceutical industries. We are absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with them in the UK and Ireland.”

“This gives EPP a fantastic range of washing equipment and a cleaning solution for virtually every type of bakery, dairy and chocolate tray, tin, mould, basket and rack plus Eurobins and mixing bowls.

“Colussi tray washers can be integrated into a production line without the need for a separate wet room and in almost every case Colussi equipment washes trays bottom down so there is no need for the trays to be turned over.”

Designed with numerous energy saving features Colussi washers do not incorporate seals, rubber or silicon, making the equipment very simple to maintain and very easy to clean.
